Together we bring hope to those we serve.
Dear Friends:
As someone who cares deeply about our community, I hope that, with the holiday season here, you will find it in your heart to make a special gift to Catholic Charities Family and Community Services.
HannahYour continued support brings hope to those we serve: people like Hannah R., a young mother who turned to CCFCS for help. Hannah had gotten sober once, but without learning how to set boundaries, her life spiraled again. She relapsed, spent two months in jail, and lost custody of two of her three children. Then something inside her clicked. She knew she had to regain custody of her youngest daughter, Luna – and the only way to do that was to get sober for good and work on herself in a way she never had before. That’s when she came to Barrington House, our community residence for women and women with children.
Celebrating the journey toward healing
Women at Barrington House can focus on recovery while staying present for their children, rebuilding their lives together in a safe, supportive environment. Thanks to caring people like you, Barrington House has expanded in recent years from serving 11 women to 23, with accommodations for 5 children.
Hannah’s journey toward healing has truly begun. At Barrington House, she’s getting the help she needs for herself, and the children she loves.
We are so grateful for your support
