Help is here. People struggling with behavioral health issues can get help while staying connected to family, work and what really matters to them. Catholic Charities knows recovery is about the whole person, so we create treatments plans that address multiple challenges such as drug, alcohol and gambling addiction as well as depression and anxiety in ways that fit clients’ lives.
School-based, free counseling currently available at five schools for youth whose family environment, behavior and/or psychosocial development place them at higher risk for alcohol and substance abuse. Parents and/or siblings of these students may also be included in the program, depending on their involvement in these at-risk behaviors.
Our program currently serves children and adolescents in the Rochester City School District, the Hilton School District and Bishop Kearney High School.
Behavioral Health outpatient clinics for children and adults living with disability or special needs.
Employment Services for those with chronic illnesses and behavioral health issues. Also called Employment Waiver Services, these services meet the specific requirements of New York State's Behavioral Health Home and Community-Based Services (BH HCBS) programs.
Providing community recovery resources, employment support, and education for individuals recovering from serious mental illness or addictions.
