Rochester, NY – On Wednesday, December 18, Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) will open a one-day Christmas Shop as part of the agency’s annual Share the Joy holiday gift-giving program for their clients.
The CCFCS Christmas Shop is located on the second floor at 1099 Jay Street, Building D. It features hundreds of brand-new gifts, ranging from coats and blankets to toys, books, and household goods. All these items were donated by members of the community, including business and civic groups. From 9:30am to 3pm Wednesday, staff of CCFCS will have the opportunity to choose gifts for new clients of CCFCS to make their holidays brighter.
In addition to the Christmas Shop, hundreds of donors have already fulfilled client wish lists for the past several weeks. Because of their generosity, CCFCS has been able to help more than 2400 individuals this holiday season, making this one of the most successful Share the Joy campaigns in agency history.
Individuals who would still like to support CCFCS and its clients can make an online donation at fcscharities.org/helping/donate-online/.
