Rochester, NY… YouthBuild is a national program that provides job training and educational opportunities for at-risk youth while assisting in the construction or rehabilitation of affordable housing for low-income or homeless families in their own communities. Catholic Family Center’s YouthBuild program is in full swing and has moved to a new training facility.
Our construction curriculum is accredited by NCCER (National Center for Construction Education & Research) and CFC YouthBuild partners with Flower City Habitat for Humanity to provide hands on work experience for students. Once they have finished the program, students receive job placement support for a full year.
Come see the program and meet the students and staff who make up CFC YouthBuild. Interviews with students, mentors and partners will be arranged.
