Giving voice to the needs of our clients
Our Language Services offers interpreting and translating services to the Rochester community, helping organizations communicate with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) clients and deliver services in a way that is culturally and linguistically sensitive and in compliance with Section 601 of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. Section 200d et. seq.
Our pool of trained interpreters includes speakers of over 175 languages, specializing in the dialects of several local refugee populations.
In addition to our local team of over 20 trained interpreters speaking 11 languages, we now partner with a third party to seamlessly offer Virtual (VRI) and Phone (OPI) interpreting in over 175 languages.
And, beginning in May of 2024 the Virtual (VRI) and Phone (OPI) interpreting is available “On-Demand” to handle your walk-in clients or last minute needs. No appointment is needed.
