What the Program Offers
Tri-D is especially for individuals with undiagnosed or underdiagnosed IDD (intellectual and developmental disability) or cognitive impairment who are dealing with mental illness and substance use disorder. Developmentally informed services include:
- Individual and group therapy
- Psychotropic medication services
- Health monitoring
- Smoking cessation services
- Evidence-based treatment plans
- Peer counseling
Eligibility criteria
Individuals 18 and older who have co-occurring mental health issues, suspected or verified intellectual and developmental disability or other cognitive impairment, and substance use concerns.
Mental health issues
Intellectual or developmental disability
- Suspected diagnosis: failed application for OPWDD, history of IEP and/or learning disability in school, ASD diagnosis.
- Verified diagnosis: OPWDD enrollment
Substance use concerns
- Suspected or verified SUD diagnosis, emerging substance use issues

Program Cost
Program costs may be covered through accepted insurance plans or determined using a sliding fee scale arrangement.
