Help us end hunger in our community by joining us for our annual Empty Bowls event at our NEW location, Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, on November 12th at 5:30PM! Empty Bowls is a night filled with food, friends, and purpose. Guests will enjoy soups donated by local chefs, along with bread, wine & beer tastings, desserts, live musical entertainment, and a silent auction. Each guest will also take home a handmade ceramic bowl created by local artists, a one-of-a-kind keepsake and a reminder of the difference you can make for a neighbor whose bowl is empty tonight.

Proceeds support the more than 21,000 people served each year through the programs and services of Catholic Charities Family and Community Services.

Are you a chef or restaurant looking to showcase your signature soup? Join us for an evening of community impact by providing soup for our event! We'd love to have you participate and share your culinary talents for a great cause.

Calling All Local Artists & Ceramicists!

We invite local artists and ceramicists to donate handmade bowls for our event. Each donated bowl will be selected and taken home by one of our guests, giving your creation a new home while supporting a meaningful cause.

Bowls may be any shape, size, color, or design.

Bowl Drop-Off Information
Please note that bowls must be dropped off at our Jay Street location. Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange pickups.

To help ensure someone is available to receive your donation, please contact the development team at development@fcscharities.org prior to your arrival. We kindly ask that you notify us before dropping off your bowls.

Virtual Live Auction

Discover and bid on a variety of incredible items and experiences donated by our generous Rochester community! Every bid supports the more than 21,000 people served each year by CCFCS. Empty Bowl attendance is not required.

Our virtual auction opens on November 5 and runs for one week, closing at 7:30 p.m. on November 12 during the event. Be sure to check back here on November 5 for the link to our virtual auction.
